Inter and Juventus are interested in signing Atalanta midfielder Ederson should the Brazilian leave La Dea in the January transfer window.

This according to Italian news outlet Repubblica.it, who report that the 23-year-old could depart from Atalanta as early as the January window and that both the Nerazzurri and the Bianconeri would be interested in signing him.

Ederson only joined Atalanta during the summer transfer window from Salernitana.

However, the Brazilian has not made the kind of impact that’s been expected of him based on his impressive displays to help the Granata stay in Serie A last season.

The midfielder has struggled to become a key part of La Dea’s starting eleven under Gian Piero Gasperini.

Accordingly, La Repubblica report that it cannot be ruled out that the Brazilian would move to a different club during the January window.

Inter and Juventus would both be keen on signing the 23-year-old if he is available.

Atalanta would be reluctant to allow Ederson to leave in January, although a high enough offer from Inter or Juventus could well convince them.

Inter could also consider including Roberto Gagliardini as part of a deal for the Brazilian.
