Inter centre-back Alessandro Bastoni has joined the rest of the squad in travelling to Turin to face Juventus in the Derby d’Italia in Serie A tomorrow.

As reported by FCInterNews.it, the Italy international had been a doubt for the match after developing flu-like symptoms, and his illness had led to suggestions that he would remain in Milan to recuperate.

Bastoni had missed Inter’s final training session, held earlier today, due to a high fever, but is considered well enough to make the journey across and will be included in the squad to take on the Bianconeri.

Whilst this does not necessarily mean that he will start the game at the Allianz Stadium, coach Simone Inzaghi will be able to call upon the former Atalanta defender should he feel he is ready to feature.

Bastoni will be monitored overnight and his condition will be assessed, with a view to a decision being made on his involvement tomorrow ahead of the match.
