Ex-Nerazzurri defender Daniele Adani believes that it would be a disaster for Juventus if they lose to Inter in the upcoming Derby d’Italia on Sunday at 20:45 CET.

The RAI Sport pundit and former Inter defender Daniele Adani spoke to Christian Vieri’s Bobo TV Twitch stream yesterday about Juventus’s league title chances if they fail to win against the Nerazzurri.

“If Juventus lose against Inter, it will be a disaster. It will be bad because we won’t talk about the relative distance in the league table anymore.

“Juventus and Inter should be first and second, instead they are sixth and seventh. After Sunday, a third of the league games will be played. It won’t be an easy path,” concluded the former Inter defender.

Daniele Adani signed with Fiorentina for a reported fee of €3.6 million. During his three year stint with the Viola, Adani made seventy-five appearances across all competitions scoring four goal in the process.

The former Italian defender also won a Coppa Italia during with Fiorentina.

Following the Viola’s bankruptcy in 2002, Adani joined Inter on a free transfer. During his two year stint with the Nerazzurri, the defender collected 30 appearances across all competitions scoring two goals in the process.

Daniele Adani moved on to join Ascoli in 2005 and then finished his player career after two seasons with Empoli in 2008.
