Inter will turn to centre-back Francesco Acerbi for the Derby d’Italia against Juventus tomorrow, should Alessandro Bastoni fail to recover from illness.

Bastoni has been suffering from flu-like symptoms and is a doubt for the Serie A clash at the Allianz Stadium, but coach Simone Inzaghi has already lined up Acerbi to deputise, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The defender has travelled with the Inter squad to Turin and his condition will be assessed tomorrow, but if he is still too unwell to start then his place will go to ex-Lazio centre-back Acerbi.

Meanwhile, Milan Skriniar and Stefan De Vrij will make up the other parts of the back line, in front of goalkeeper Andre Onana.

Denzel Dumfries and Federico Dimarco are in line to start at wing-back, with a midfield of Nicolo Barella, Henrikh Mkhitaryan, and Hakan Calhanoglu set to play in behind strikers Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez.
