Italian journalist Fabio Caressa believes Inter Milan have been playing better than Juventus and that the Bianconeri’s current form has been unacceptable.

In an interview with Italian broadcaster Radio Deejay, as reported via FCInter1908.it, Sky Sport Italia journalist Fabio Caressa praised Inter for their current form when compared to the Bianconeri and that you never know what can happen in a Derby d’Italia match.

“If Juventus lose, not a lot will change. They are in a crisis and they can’t go any lower. Inter are playing much better than Juventus right now, but you never know.

“I don’t trust Juventus because for every step taken forward, they take 3 steps backwards,” the Italian broadcast journalist stated.

“It is interesting that Allegri found some young players, which is contrary to his style, as he wanted a squad that is ready to compete,” concluded Caressa.

Juventus and Inter face off on Sunday at 20:45 CET in the latest edition of the Derby d’Italia at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.

The Nerazzurri looked to continue their impressive form from the last six weeks, as they have only lost to AS Roma in early October and to Bayern Munich in the final UEFA Champions League group stage on November 1.

Juventus are looking to bounce back from their 2-1 defeat to French side Paris Saint-German in their final UEFA Champions League group stage that saw them drop to the UEFA Europe League knockout stage.
