Inter are keeping a watchful eye on the availability of Fenerbahce midfielder Miguel Crespo, as they contemplate a move for him.

As reported by FCInterNews.it, the Nerazzurri are keen admirers of the France-born Portuguese midfielder and whilst there has been no formal contact, the club have been scouting him since his time at Estoril from 2019 to 2021.

However, it is expected that a deal for Crespo will be difficult, and any move for him in the January transfer window would be out of the question due to Fenerbahce coach Jorge Jesus’ determination to retain him until at least the end of the campaign.

The 26-year-old has 18 months remaining on his contract in Istanbul but negotiations over an extension have already begun, whilst the €25 million release clause in his current deal is beyond what Inter would be willing to pay.

Indeed, the former Braga midfielder is currently valued at €15m, with Atletico Madrid recently seeing an €11m offer rejected.
