Inter Milan’s Italian international defender Alessandro Bastoni has recovered from the flu, but fellow Italian international defender Francesco Acerbi is set to start ahead of Bastoni in tonight’s Derby d’Italia at 20:45 CET.
Nerazzurri defender Alessandro Bastoni is fit enough to start from the bench after fighting off flu-like symptoms, which reportedly developed on Saturday.
This according to a report this afternoon from Italia broadcaster Sport Mediaset, as reported by FCInterNews, that despite this Francesco Acerbi is set to start alongside Stefan de Vrij in tonight’s match Juventus.
Dutch international central defender will partner alongside Francesco Acerbi and Milan Skriniar in Inter’s back three in an otherwise expected lineup, the report continues.
Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni has made fourteen appearances across all competitions so far this season. If the defender fails to make an appearances, it would be only the fifth game that Bastoni has missed this season.
Italian defender Francesco Acerbi, who arrived in the summer on loan from Lazio, has made eleven appearances across all competitions so far this season for the Nerazzurri.
Inter face against Juventus tonight at 20:45 CET at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.
