Inter’s Italian international wingback Federico Dimarco believes that everyone understands what it means to play against Juventus in the Derby d’Italia.

In an interview to Inter TV aired moments ago ahead of tonight’s match against the Bianconeri, as reported by FCInterNews, Federico Dimarco commented on the importance of facing off against Juventus.

“It is an important game, like every Derby d’Italia. We have to play well tonight because we have to reduce the distance to those who are in front of us in the table.

“We have to attack like we do in every game, but maintain our balance on the pitch. We all know what it means to play against Juventus or AC Milan.

“These are emotions that you can only feel on the pitch,” concluded the Italian wingback.

Federico Dimarco starts ahead of German international wingback Robin Gosens, who is looking to impress in order to join the German squad list to go the FIFA World Cup in Qatar in November with the German National Team.

Dimarco has cemented his starting spot with his consistent performances which saw Inter only lose twice in the last 6 weeks.

Their losses came against AS Roma in early October and Bayern Munich in the final UEFA Champions League group stage game on November 1.

The Italian international wingback has made sixteen appearances across all competitions scoring one goal in the process.
