Italian journalist Paolo Condò believes that the key to tonight’s upcoming Derby d’Italia between Inter and Juventus is the amount minutes played by the Bianconeri’s Federico Chiesa.

In an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, as reported via FCInterNews, Italian journalist Paolo Condò believes that Juventus’ Federico Chiesa, who is making his way back from a long-term knee injury, holds the key to tonight’s match between Inter and Juventus.

“Inter are doing well and Juventus are growing. I want to know how much time Federico Chiesa will get. He is a reference point for the Bianconeri.

“He only played 20 minutes and almost his team to draw against PSG. If he plays at least one half, Juventus will be competitive.

“If he plays less than that, Inter’s superiority will prevail,” concluded the Italian journalist.

Juventus’s Italian international winger Federico Chiesa made his first appearance in over a year in the Bianconeri’s final UEFA Champions League game on November 1 against French club Paris Saint-Germain.

If Chiesa makes an appearances in tonight’s Derby d’Italia, it would only be his second appearances of the season.

It is a must win match for both Juventus and Inter if they want to keep pace with Serie A league leaders Napoli. The Bianconeri and the Nerazzurri are currently thirteen point and eleven points respectively from the Partenopei in Serie A.
