Legendary Nerazzurri player Sandro Mazzola believes that Juventus are a strong team and that Inter requires a player who possess more speed.

In an interview today with the online edition of Italian newspaper Il Giornale, Nerazzurri legend analyzed the upcoming the Derby d’Italia and spoke about Juventus and Inter’s strengths and weaknesses.

“Pros and cons? Juventus have only cons. Just kidding, as they are a strong side. I think they will be tough because their training ground retreat helped.

“I like this Inter, but I would fix the winger position with someone who has more speed,” said the legendary Inter player.

“[The situation in the Curva Nord] made me sad and left me speechless. During my time, the organized fans club did not have this much power,” concluded Mazzola.

Sandro Mazzola played his entire seventeen year career with the Nerazzurri. During his lengthy stint with Inter, he collected four hundred and seventeen appearances across all competitions scoring one hundred and sixteen goals in the process.

During his playing career, he won four Serie A titles in 1963, 1965, 1966 and 1971, two European Cups in 1964 and 1965 and two Intercontinental Cups in 1964 and 1965.

As an Italian international, he played alongside AC Milan legend Gianni Rivera to win the 1968 UEFA European Championship and reached the final of the final of the 1970 FIFA World Cup, where Italy lost 4-1 to Pele’s Brazil.
