Inter Milan’s German international defender Robin Gosens wants to stay at the club, but the Nerazzurri are considering other options.

This according to a report in today’s print edition of Milan based Gazzetta dello Sport, as reported via FCInterNewsthat the German wingback Robin Gosens has not convinced that Nerazzurri and has been superseded by the performances from Italian international defender Federico Dimarco.

The report continues that Gosens’ objective for this week is to become a protagonist during the Nerazzurri’s final two games before the FIFA World Cup international break in order to convince German National Team manager Hansi Flick to include him in the German World Cup squad..

Inter are considering their options to replace Robin Gosens with Salernitana’s Pasquale Mazzocchi and Bundesliga duo Borna Sosa and Ramy Bensebaini as well as Villareal’s Alfonso Pedraza being touted.

The former Atalanta player has struggled to gain playing time and has many suitors in the Bundesliga and the Premier League with Leicester City, West Ham and Freiburg joining the list of clubs interested in him, the report continues.

Robin Gosens is currently on loan at Inter from Atalanta, but the Nerazzurri have an obligation to buy in July 2023 for €27.40 million if certain conditions are met.

The German international wingback has made fifteen appearances across all competitions so far this season scoring one goal in the process.
