Inter Milan’s Armenian international midfielder Henrik Mkhitaryan believes that it is necessary to beat the best teams to the UEFA Champions League.

In an interview with Inter TV immediately following the Nerazzurri’s defeat to the Bianconeri in the Derby d’Italia, as reported via FCInterNews, Henrik Mkhitaryan is not afraid of the UEFA Champions League draw , which is taking place on Monday.

“There is no team that I don’t want to play. We are Inter and we have to play everyone if we want to win something,” said the Armenian international midfielder.

“We were better than Juventus. We should have been winning 2-0 after the first, but we could not score with the chances that we created. We payed the price in the second half.

“We don’t step on the pitch thinking that we have not won against any of the big teams. They are only stats, it does not matter if play Juventus or another opponent. We enter the pitch to win, ” continued Mkhitaryan.

“We believe that we can get better and win the matches that are left. We are certain that at the end of the season, it will be at positive one,” concluded the Armenian international.

Prior in joining Inter Milan, Henrik Mkhitaryan was on loan at Roma from Arsenal in 2019 before signing on a permanent transfer at the start of the following season.

During his three year stint at Roma, Mkhitaryan collected one hundred and seventeen appearances across all competitions scoring twenty-nine goal in the process.
