Referee Andre Colombo has been appointed to be in charge of Inter’s Serie A clash with Bologna this Wednesday.

This is confirmed by an announcement by the Lega Serie A of the officiating crews for all of the fixtures for this matchday, as reported by FCInterNews.

Colombo will be assisted in his duties by the likes of Mauro Vivenzi and Andrea Zingarelli.

Meanwhile, the role of fourth official will be filled by Juan Luca Sacchi.

In the VAR booth, Paolo Mazzoleni will oversee the match to ensure that any errors made by the on-pitch officials are corrected.

The role of assistant to Mazzoleni as the video assistant will be filled by Antonio Di Martino.

Inter will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch rather than on any officiating controversy.

The Nerazzurri are hoping to immediately bounce back from their defeat away to Juventus yesterday evening.
