Inter are set to meet with the agent of defender Milan Skriniar sometime shortly after tomorrow evening’s Serie A match against Bologna for another round of contract extension talks.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, who report that the Nerazzurri are aiming to get the negotiations wrapped up and a contract agreed in this meeting.

Inter have now been actively in talks with Skriniar and his representatives for a couple weeks, having held the first formal meeting regarding a contract extension after the team’s win over Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League.

The contacts have been ongoing, and the Nerazzurri are keen not to waste any time wrapping up the negotiations.

Given that Skriniar’s current deal is set to run out at the end of June 2023, securing his future is a major priority so as to avoid the possibility of losing the 27-year-old on a free transfer next summer.

According to Mediaset, the club are aiming for the next meeting with the Slovakian’s agent to be the decisive one.
