Inter are working on getting a deal done to sign defender Alan Matturro from Uruguayan club Sporting Defensor and loan him back to the club until the end of the season.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who report that the Nerazzurri are offering €3 million for the 18-year-old, plus 20% of all future resale.

Matturro is a player who has been identified by the Nerazzurri as a significant addition to their backline for the future.

Recent performances that have been scouted by Assistant Sporting Director Dario Baccin whilst he has been in South American have further convinced the club to make their move.

The Nerazzurri are not waiting around, and are in active talks with Sporting Defensor.

Sporting Director Piero Ausilio is trying to get a deal done on the basis of around €3 million, half of a release clause in Matturro’s contract, plus 20% of future resale value.
