Every one of Inter’s defeats so far in Serie A this season have come after the team switched off during the second half of matches.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who note that the Nerazzurri’s problems all seem to occur in the second half of matches.

In all of Inter’s losses to Lazio, AC Milan, Udinese, and Roma, the Nerazzurri actually scored the opener, all during the first half.

Inter showed that they can start brightly and impose their football early on, but then in the second half of those matches they invariably failed to keep their grip on the game and defend their advantage.

Against Juventus over the weekend, Inter did not manage to establish a lead in the first half.

However, the first half was an overall positive one for the Nerazzurri, who looked like they were in control for long spells.

In the second half, however, just as in earlier league defeats during the campaign, gaps started to appear, and just like in all the other losses, the Bianconeri were able to punish them.
