Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio is pushing to get a deal done to sign defender Alan Matturro from Uruguayan club Defensor Sporting soon.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri Sporting Director will offer €3 million plus 20% of future resale in order to beat out the competition of Ajax for the 18-year-old.

Inter have been following Matturro closely, and scouting of the young Uruguayan’s performances in the Uruguayan top flight have convinced them to accelerate their pursuit during the past few weeks.

Ajax are also keen on the 18-year-old, however, and so Ausilio feels that they must act fast.

Apart from making the offer of €3 million and 20% of future resale to try and convince Defensor Sporting, the Nerazzurri could sign him on a permanent basis in January, with the player holding and Italian passport, and then sending him back to Defensor Sporting until the end of the season.
