Inter striker Edin Dzeko has become the Nerazzurri’s second-oldest ever goalscorer in Serie A after Sinisa Mihajlovic with his goal against Bologna in yesterday evening’s Serie A victory.

This is highlighted in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who note that the Bosnian has now moved ahead of Giuseppe Meazza in terms of being just behind Mihajlovic.

Dzeko got on the scoresheet in the 26th minute of yesterday evening’s clash with Bologna with a stunning volley that quickly levelled the score after a shock Rossoblu opener.

The Bosnian has thusly surpassed Meazza, who had scored his final goal in Serie A for the Nerazzurri at the age of 36 years and 233 days.

However, Dzeko is still some way behind Mihajlovic in this respect, with the Serb having notched a goal in Serie A for the Nerazzurri at the age of 37 years and 43 days for his final strike.
