Inter striker Edin Dzeko has no shortage of transfer interest from teams outside of Serie A, but his preference would be to remain at the Nerazzurri past the end of the current season.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that as of yet no serious talks have started up between the Bosnian and the Nerazzurri, but that his preference would be to stay as he feels that he is still at the required level.

Should Dzeko leave Inter at the end of his current contract, FCInterNews reports, there would be interest in his signature from teams in the Turkish Super League and Major League Soccer as well as in the United Arab Emirates.

However, as far as the 36-year-old is concerned, he would still be at the required level to continue to play in a top European league.

Dzeko is happy at Inter and would be willing to sign a contract at lower wages than the €5.5 million net than he currently earns, even if it meant rejecting higher offers from abroad.

As of yet, however, no offer has been made by the Nerazzurri.
