Inter produced the needed response to their loss to Juventus over the weekend with a 6-1 thrashing of Bologna, although the Rossoblu did not put up much of a resistance.

This is the view in today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who both praise the Nerazzurri’s display and argue that the Rossoblu went missing.

Inter were desperate three points against Bologna after the bitter disappointment of having lost to Juventus on Sunday.

After the brief hiccup of an early goal by the Emilians, the Nerazzurri woke up and produced a dominant display to put six past Rossoblu keeper Lukasz Skorupski.

In the view of the Gazzetta, after a few early sparks, Bologna largely did not put up much of a fight.

Nevertheless, the newspaper, Inter did what they had to do to show that they still have plenty of fight left in them after the disappointment of the weekend.
