Inter wingback Federico Dimarco was the best player on the pitch during Inter’s emphatic 6-1 win over Bologna, in the view of Italian media.

The 25-year-old received the highest grade of any player in the player ratings for the match, as reported by FCInterNews, with his 8/10 score reflecting an outstanding display and two very well-taken goals.

Dimarco has only grown in the quality of his performances and his importance to the team throughout the season.

Yesterday evening was one of the 25-year-old’s best matches yet, as he scored the goal that gave the Nerazzurri the lead to complete a quick comeback in the first half, and then the team’s fourth early on in the second to signal that it would really become a rout.

Dimarco was not the only player to be praised significantly by the Gazzetta for their performances against the Rossoblu, however.

Both midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu and striker Edin Dzeko received 7.5/10 scores for their displays.
