Inter are tracking Lens midfielder Facundo Media as a possible transfer target to reinforce their defense.

This according to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, who report that the 23-year-old is among the targets being considered by the Nerazzurri to strengthen the backline for the future.

Medina is a player who Inter have already looked at in the past, and he has not gone off of their radar.

Inter are keen to bring in players with the right profile for the back three who can strengthen the squad in the long term.

The Argentine has shown that he is proficient at either playing in the centre of a back three, or in a wide role, and given his age could grow into the back-three system used by Inter coach Simone Inzaghi.

According to Transfermarkt, the valuation of Medina would be around €15 million if the Nerazzurri are to make a move for him.
