Referee Daniele Chiffi has been appointed to be in charge of Inter’s Serie A clash with Atalanta this Sunday.

This is confirmed by an announcement by the Lega Serie A of the officiating crews for all of the fixtures for this matchday, as reported by FCInterNews.

Chiffi will be assisted in his duties by the likes of Giovanni Baccini and Gianluca Manganiello.

Meanwhile, the role of fourth official will be filled by Aleandro Di Paolo.

In the VAR booth, Aleandro Di Paolo will oversee the match to ensure that any errors made by the on-pitch officials are corrected.

The role of assistant to Di Paolo as the video assistant will be filled by Oreste Muto.

Inter will be hoping that the focus stays on the action on the pitch rather than on any officiating controversy.

The Nerazzurri are hoping to continue on with the momentum of their win over Bologna and head into the World Cup break in winning form.
