Inter are ready to move for Borussia Monchengladbach forward Marcus Thuram when his contract expires at the end of the season.

According to Italian television broadcaster Sport Mediaset, and as reported by FCInterNews.it, the Nerazzurri have identified France international Thuram as a target for transfer, with the 25-year-old set to be available on a free transfer in the summer.

Thuram has no intention of penning a new contract with the Bundesliga club and appears destined to leave Gladbach after four years at Borussia Park.

The former Sochaux winger has been in superb form since being converted into a striker this season, with 13 goals from 17 appearances in all competitions.

The Italy-born Frenchman netted his 10th Bundesliga goal from just 15 matches when he struck against Borussia Dortmund yesterday, and his prowess in front of goal has caught the attention of Inter.

As they look to bolster their attack, the Nerazzurri are monitoring his situation and hope to land him ahead of next season.
