Bundesliga sides Borussia Monchengladbach and Bayer Leverkusen are planning a January swoop for Inter defender Robin Gosens, according to a report in the Italian media.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com as reported via FCInter1908, both of the Bundesliga sides are keen on offering Robin Gosens a way out of Inter after the German wingback was left out of the World Cup squad.

That is a direct consequence of the poor first chunk of the season that he has had with Inter, considering Robin Gosens has been a regular part of the Germany squad over the last two years.

Federico Dimarco’s form and his own inability to make an impression when on the pitch means that he could be set for a January departure and a return to Germany seems plausible.

He would likely have a much better chance of starting more games at either club considering Federico Dimarco’s form does not seem set to drop off.
