Inter could be set to make a loan swoop for Valencia defender Jesus Vazquez in January to add more depth to the squad, according to a report in the Spanish media.

As has been reported by MARCA, Valencia coach Gennaro Gattuso does not seem to class Jesus Vazquez as one of his important players and he is surplus to requirements.

The left-back is a player that Inter have long been interested in signing but the opportunity has never arisen in this manner.

There is a clause in his contract which means that if he does not reach a minimum amount of league appearances, he can leave on loan in the January transfer window.

It is an evolving situation and it cannot be ruled out that he will spend the second half of the season with Inter.

It is even more likely that he will join if Robin Gosens leaves the club in January.
