Former Nerazzurri head coach Alberto Zaccheroni feels that all of Inter, AC Milan, and Juventus can take advantage of the World Cup break to launch a strong second half of the season.

Speaking to Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, Zaccheroni argued that all three of the trio can use the to regroup and try to catch up with Napoli at the top of the Serie A table.

Heading into the World Cup break, it is Napoli who are flying high at the top of the Serie A table.

However, all of the Nerazzurri, the Rossoneri, and the Bianconeri have shown flashes over the first fifteen matches of the campaign that they could well mount a push to capitalize on any possible stumbles by the league leaders.

The more than a month away from league action could well disrupt the Partenopei’s momentum, whilst the teams behind them could well come out of the blocks strongly once the league returns.

“Milan, Inter, and Juventus will all be able to benefit from it,” Zaccheroni said of the World Cup break.

“As I’ve said before, if I were Spalletti I wouldn’t be happy for it, it’s not something his team can really use because they’ve started off at such a good pace.”
