Inter forward Joaquin Correa came off the bench and got off the scoresheet in the Argentine national team’s 5-0 win over the United Arab Emirates earlier today.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the 28-year-old scored in the 60th minute of the match, having come on at halftime of the 2022 FIFA World Cup warm-up friendly match.

Inter have two players represented in the Argentine national team’s squad for the upcoming World Cup in Qatar.

Lautaro Martinez did not play for the Albiceleste in today’s friendly clash with the United Arab Emirates.

However, Correa did, with the 28-year-old starting on the bench before coming on as a substitute at the start of the second half.

It did not take the Nerazzurri forward long to leave his mark on the match.

Correa was on the pitch for just fifteen minutes after coming off the bench, scoring in the 60th minute of play.
