Inter goalkeeper Andre Onana feels that he is at the right club for him right now, and is learning a lot from club captain Samir Handanovic.

Speaking to the YouTube channel of the manufacturer of his goalkeeping gloves Rinat, the 26-year-old gave his thoughts on what being at Inter has meant to him.

Onana joined Inter on a free transfer from Ajax during the summer transfer window, and is already settling in very well.

The Cameroonian has started to really establish himself as the Nerazzurri’s starting keeper ahead of Samir Handanovic.

This does not mean, however, that Onana has not benefited significantly from the influence of the captain.

The 26-year-old has been allowed time to settle in at Inter, and is now really spreading his wings, whilst he will also be able to participate in the World Cup with Cameroon.

“I’m very happy to be here,” Onana said of being at Inter.

“Handanovic is a great goalkeeper, and to be playing at the level he is at the age of 38 is really impressive.”

Of living in Milan, Onana said that “I’m happy here.”

“Milan is a wonderful city, but I don’t think that I have to say that, everyone is well aware.”

“I’ve settled in well, because I’ve lived in Spain, in Barcelona, and now in Milan,” he continued.

“They’re very similar,” Onana noted, “I feel at home here.”
