Inter are targeting all of Valencia’s Jesus Vazquez, Racing Club’s Carlos Alvaraz, and Borussia Monchengladbach’s Marcus Thuram for the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri could make moves for all three of the trio, particularly if players leave in January.

Alcaraz has emerged as one of the Nerazzurri’s primary targets for the left flank if Robin Gosens leaves the club in January.

The German’s departure is looking likelier and likelier given that he has fallen behind Federico Dimarco in the Nerazzurri’s starting eleven, and Vazquez has become the main name to replace him at left-wingback if so, according to the Gazzetta.

Meanwhile, the Gazzetta reports that Alcaraz is on Inter’s radar for as early as January, particularly in the event that Roberto Gagliardini were to leave the club.

Lastly, the Nerazzurri could try to wrap up the signing of Thuram from Gladbach in January rather than waiting until next summer to sign the Frenchman on a free transfer.

The thinking would be that while a fee would be needed to sign Thuram in January, it would mean that Inter could definitively beat out the competition that would likely form for the 25-year-old’s signature should he be available on a free transfer.
