Valencia’s Jesus Vazquez and Villarreal’s Alfonso Pedraza are among Inter’s main targets at left-wingback in the event that Robin Gosens leaves the club.

This according to Italian news outlet FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri are looking to La Liga for possible signings to reinforce their left flank, albeit with two quite different situations.

Vazquez would be allowed to leave Valencia during the January transfer window due to a clause in his contract.

The clause would allow the 19-year-old to leave on loan for the rest of the season due to not having made enough appearances during the campaign so far.

Vazquez has hoped to establish himself at his boyhood club, but has found himself well behind club captain Jose Gaya in the pecking order under coach Gennaro Gattuso.

The Nerazzurri are admirers of Vazquez and see the 19-year-old as having the right profile to play down the left flank in the event that Gosens departs.

If Inter were to loan Vazquez for the remainder of the season it would come without a transfer fee, whilst the purchase clause next summer would be €25 million.

Meanwhile, Villarreal’s Pedraza has also been on Inter’s radar for sometimes, with some talks having started in August of this year.

The 26-year-old would cost around €20 million, and it remains to be seen whether the Nerazzurri would be ready to invest this amount.
