Inter are thinking about a move for Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah during the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri could aim to beat out the competition to sign the 20-year-old by moving in January, and that he is valued at around €20 million.

Musah’s form for Valencia has attracted a number of suitors among European clubs, and Inter are among the foremost interested teams.

The American is seen as a player who can add quality both in the short term and especially in the longer term based on his potential for growth.

Musah will be at the upcoming World Cup in Qatar with the US national team, and the feeling is that his performances during the tournament could attract even more transfer interest.

Therefore, according to the Gazzetta the Nerazzurri’s strategy could be to already start plotting a move for the American in January so as to anticipate the competition for his signature.
