Inter still have not agreed wages on a new contract for defender Milan Skriniar.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that there is still distance between the Nerazzurri and Skriniar regarding the wages before an agreement can be found on a contract extension.

Negotiations have been progressing quickly between Inter and Skriniar and his representatives.

The feeling is that the will on both sides of the table is very much to continue on together by agreeing an extension to the player’s current contract which expires at the end of June 2023.

However, there are still some details to be ironed out in further talks before an agreement is wrapped up.

The most outstanding of these details is the wages, with the Nerazzurri offering around €6 million net per season plus add-ons on a new deal, whilst Skriniar and his representatives are still seeking a little more.
