Inter are ready to start talks to extend the contracts of Edin Dzeko, Matteo Darmian, and Samir Handanovic after they agree a new deal with Milan Skriniar.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, who also report that the likes of Roberto Gagliardini and Dalbert will not be offered new deals with their current contracts set to run out at the end of the current campaign.

Securing Skriniar’s future with a new contract is certainly the priority for the Nerazzurri.

However, the 27-year-old is far from the only Inter player whose current contract expires at the end of June 2023.

In the cases of all of Dzeko, Darmian, and captain Handanovic, the feeling is that the experienced players continue to have a place in Inter’s plans past the end of the current season.

Accordingly, Tuttosport, the Nerazzurri are already prepared to offer new deals to the trio, unlike with Gagliardini and Dalbert.
