Inter striker Romelu Lukaku trained on his own in the Belgian national team’s training camp in Kuwait yesterday.

This according to Belgian news outlet Sporza, via FCInterNews, who report that the 29-year-old was not part of the full training session but that he was able to complete an individual course of recovery training, with optimism building that he can play during the World Cup.

Lukaku is still recovering from a thigh injury which has caused him to miss out on much of Inter’s season so far.

The Belgian is currently with the rest of his national team squad at the pre-World Cup training camp in Kuwait.

Lukaku was not part of the group training session that was open to the media for fifteen minutes, as he is not yet fit enough to work with the rest of the group in full training.

However, according to Sporza, Lukaku was able to get through an individual training course.
