Inter’s focus on transfer targets such as Racing Club midfielder Carlos Alcaraz and Valencia’s Yunus Musah would seem to show a change in strategy towards focusing on young players.

This according to today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who argue that the profile of player sought by the Nerazzurri increasingly looks to be young with significant room to grow.

Alcaraz has been on Inter’s radar for some time, and in recent days reports have suggested that the club are seriously considering moving for the Argentine to replace Roberto Gagliardini during the January transfer window.

Meanwhile, Musah has also emerged as a target for the Nerazzurri.

Alcaraz is just nineteen, whilst Musah is twenty.

In both cases, the Nerazzurri look to be ready to invest in moves for these players, with the expectation that they could be repaid as the players grow and improve over the seasons to come.
