Inter could look to a number of different defensive targets should they look to reinforce their options in a back three over the coming days.

Ten possible targets are named by Italian news outlet FCInter1908, including Eintracht Frankfurt’s Evan Ndicka and Premier League quartet Caglar Soyuncu, Yerry Mina, Davinson Sanchez, and William Saliba.

Ndicka could be an attractive target for Inter given that he is 23 years old and has shown great propensity defending in a back three system.

Meanwhile in the Premier League, both Leicester City’s Souncu and Everton’s Mina are on their radar.

Also in the English top flight, Tottenham Hotspur’s Sanchez and Arsenal’s William Saliba are two players on opposite sides of the North London Derby divide whose current contracts expire at the end of June 2024.

Valencia’s Mouctar Diakhaby and FC Zurich’s Becir Omegacic are two defenders whose current contracts expire at the end of June 2023, and who have been linked with Inter in the recent past.

Lastly, the trio of Nantes’ Facundo Medina, Monaco’s Benoit Badiashile, and Bayern Munich’s Benjamin Pavard could all be ambitious targets for future free transfers given that, like Sanchez and Saliba, they each see their current contracts expire at the end of June 2024.
