Porto are interested in signing Racing Club midfielder Carlos Alcaraz alongside the likes of Inter and AC Milan.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 19-year-old could go for less than the initial €15 million asking price.

Inter have stepped up their pursuit of Alcaraz, who could be signed as a midfield reinforcement for as early as the January transfer window.

Meanwhile, the Nerazzurri’s city rivals AC Milan have also shown an interest in the young Argentine midfielder.

However, Portuguese champions Porto, who are Inter’s opponents in the Champions League round of sixteen, are also keen.

The valuation set on Alcaraz has been around €15 million, although according to Tuttosport this fee could be negotiable.

The Nerazzurri could aim to get a deal wrapped up for Alcaraz during the January transfer window in order to beat out the competition to sign him from Porto.
