Inter could look to sign Villarreal wingback Alfonso Pedraza on loan during the January transfer window in the event that Robin Gosens leaves the club.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the Nerazzurri would likely be targeting the Spaniard on an initial loan deal rather than as a permanent signing.

There is a very real possibility of Gosens leaving Inter during the January window, and the Nerazzurri would immediately go in search of a replacement should he depart.

Pedraza has one of the main names on the Nerazzurri’s list of like-for-like replacements for Gosens for some time, and they would be ready to make their move should the German leave as early as January.

However, in all likelihood it would be a loan deal for the 26-year-old that Inter would try to negotiate rather than a permanent transfer according to the Corriere.
