Inter are set to move on to contract extension talks with striker Edin Dzeko and Matteo Darmian as soon as they wrap up negotiations with defender Milan Skriniar.

This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews, who report that the duo are next on the agenda for the Nerazzurri once the priority of putting pen to paper on a new contract with Skriniar is out of the way.

Dzeko and Darmian both see their current contracts run out at the end of June 2023, as with Skriniar.

In both cases, the Nerazzurri would be more than happy to offer the pair new contracts past the end of the current season.

For the time being, the focus is very much on making sure that Skriniar’s future is secured with a contract extension, with negotiations having been ongoing for several weeks.

However, once a new deal is agreed with the Slovakian, the club will waste little time in moving on to negotiations with Dzeko and Darmian.
