Inter forward Joaquin Correa could be open to leaving the club during next summer transfer window.

This according to SportItalia transfer market expert Alfredo Pedulla, who reports in a column for Gazzetta.it that the 28-year-old could decide to seek a new club if he does not have a more prominent role at the Nerazzurri over the rest of the current season.

According to Pedulla, Correa never seriously considered leaving Inter during the previous summer transfer window.

The former Lazio, Sevilla, and Sampdoria forward’s priority was to establish himself in the attacking rotation at the Nerazzurri.

Pedulla explains that while Correa was well aware that he would not be an automatic starter for this Inter team given the other options also available in attack, he still felt that he could have a role to play.

However, the Argentine has had another inconsistent start to the campaign, whilst he is now also set to miss out on the World Cup with his national team due to injury.

According to Pedulla, Correa’s thinking could be different next summer compared to last if things do not change for him at Inter over the rest of the current campaign.
