Defender Milan Skriniar is completely happy at Inter and plans to extend his contract with the club soon.

This according to Italian broadcaster DAZN, via FCInter1908, who report that the Nerazzurri’s optimism regarding the contract negotiations with Skriniar stem from the fact that he and his representatives have always made clear that he is content in the city and at the club.

Inter’s contract talks with Skriniar and his representatives have been relatively relaxed, and while they have not yet formally agreed on a new deal, the feeling is that an agreement is not too far away.

The 27-year-old has ultimately decided that he is happy with his current situation, and will reject the interest of French champions Paris Saint-Germain in order to stay at Inter.

There are still details to be worked out in further talks once Skriniar and his representatives are back in Milan, but the mood is very positive given the player’s preference.
