The agent of Valencia midfielder Yunus Musah does not confirm or deny that there have been talks with Inter to sign the 20-year-old.

Speaking to Italian news outlet Calciomercato.com, Musah’s agent Giacomo Guidolin explained that the US international is a target for clubs in Serie A and the Premier League, but did not give a clear indication as to whether the Nerazzurri are pursuing him.

Musah has emerged as a target for Inter in the past few days, as reports have stated that the Nerazzurri are seriously considering a move for the 20-year-old.

The Valencia midfielder would not necessarily come cheap, although Inter could see him as a worthwhile investment for the future.

For his part, Guidolin revealed that there has been serious interest in Musah and that Valencia could decide to sell him for the right price, although for now he has not opened up about any talks with Inter.

“I can neither confirm nor deny any talks,” the agent said when asked about the links to the Nerazzurri.

“What’s certain is that Valencia rejected a €25 million offer from Premier League club in the summer.”

“Now Yunus is playing as a regular in the starting eleven, he’s going to the World Cup which he is well aware can be an important showcase for his talents.”

“Many big clubs are tracking him, especially in Serie A, where practically all the big names are interested,” Guidolin noted.

The agent noted that “Juventus had wanted to sign him before Valencia did.”

“The Sporting Director at the time was Paratici, who worked with Pablo Longoria.”

“The Bianconeri were unable to sign him from Arsenal, then Longoria agreed a deal with Valencia,” he explained.

Guidolin made clear that “If he’s going to leave Valencia it will have to be for a top project, where he’ll be playing in the Champions League and European competitions consistently.”
