Inter could look to sign Hellas Verona wingback Darko Lazovic in January as a low-cost replacement for Robin Gosens.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews, who report that the 32-year-old is a player on the Nerazzurri’s radar should Gosens depart during the January transfer window.

Inter are looking into a number of players to potentially reinforce the left flank should Gosens leave as early as the January window.

Given that the main objective would be to find a player capable of backing up the in-form Federico Dimarco rather than necessarily making the position their own in the starting eleven, the strategy could be to move for an experienced, short-term option.

Lazovic has proven his quality in Serie A, and would be available for a lower fee than other targets in the position.

For this reason, the Serb is in consideration should Gosens leave in January.
