Inter have been offered a chance to sign Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United, but have no interest in signing the Portuguese forward.

This according to Italian journalist Marco Barzaghi, who reported on his YouTube channel that both the Nerazzurri and also Napoli have rejected the offer to sign the 37-year-old whose time with United appears to be coming to an end.

Ronaldo looks set to leave United, with the former Juventus and Real Madrid forward’s controversial recent interview criticizing the club leading to the possibility that his contract could be terminated.

The Portuguese will be in search of a new club to join should he depart from United as is expected.

As Barzaghi reports, a return to Serie A a season a half after leaving the Bianconeri is something that the 37-year-old’s representatives have looked into, but in this case their interest has been decisively rejected.

“Manchester United want to offload him and not even firing with cause can’t be ruled out after his statements in a recent interview,” he explained.

“Cristiano Ronaldo has been offered to Napoli, but also to Inter.”

“My understanding is that both Napoli and Inter have turned down the offer from his agent,” Barzaghi added.
