Inter defender Milan Skriniar has taken over the captaincy of the Slovakian national team following the retirement from international football of Marek Hamsik.

The 27-year-old is taking the responsibility of leading his national team seriously, and wore the armband in their 2-2 draw against Montenegro in a friendly clash yesterday.

Skriniar posted on his Instagram account after the match to show the work that he and his teammates are putting in to build for the future.
