Inter are hoping to secure a deal to bring in Valencia fullback Jesus Vazquez in January, as they seek to bolster their defensive options.

As reported by Tuttomercatoweb.com‘s editor Niccolo Ceccarini, the Nerazzurri have identified 19-year-old Vazquez and will push to bring him in during the winter transfer window.

It is thought that Inter will seek to bring the Spaniard to Serie A on an initial loan deal, but this would include an option to make the transfer permanent in the summer.

Indeed, the negotiations are said to be gathering pace and progress is currently being made, with Vazquez falling out of favour under Valencia Gennaro Gattuso this season.

The teenager has spent his entire career at Valencia after coming through the youth academy at the Estadio Mestalla, but has only made four La Liga appearances this term and remains on the fringes of the first team.

Inter are thought to be in the market for a left-sided wingback, with Robin Gosens’ future at the club in doubt.
