Inter midfielder Roberto Gagliardini is not likely to be sold until at least the team’s Supercoppa Italiana match against AC Milan in the middle of January.

This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via L’Interista, who report that the Nerazzurri would not want to offload the 28-year-old during the middle of the busy fixture schedule of early January.

Gagliardini may well leave Inter during the January transfer window, as the former Atalanta midfielder is in the final season of his contract, and clubs in Serie A are interested in signing him already in January, as are La Liga side Sevilla.

However, Nerazzurri coach Simone Inzaghi wants to have as large a squad at his disposal as possible during the January period, starting with the Nerazzurri’s return to Serie A action against league leaders Napoli on January 4.

According to Tuttosport, it is unlikely that Gagliardini would be on his way until at least the Supercoppa match against the Rossoneri on January 18.
