Bayer Leverkusen are offering left-back Mitchel Bakker to Inter as part of a deal to try and sign wingback Robin Gosens during the January transfer window.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews, who report that the Bundesliga club would be ready to include the 21-year-old as part of an offer to secure Gosens to meet part of the Nerazzurri’s valuation of the German.

Inter will not want to sell Gosens for anything less than €22 million in January so as to avoid a capital gains loss on his sale considering the fee that they paid to Atalanta to sign the 28-year-old.

Accordingly, while the Nerazzurri would be willing to listen to offers for Gosens as early as the January window, they will not let him go for cheap.

A player-plus-cash offer could be one way to meet the Nerazzurri’s total valuation of Gosens.

To this end, Leverkusen are offering Bakker as part of a deal to sign the 28-year-old.
