Bologna have joined Inter in looking to sign Valencia wingback Jesus Vazquez during the January transfer window.

This according to today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, who report that the La Liga side could prefer to loan Vazquez to the Rossoblu over the Nerazzurri as he would likely receive more playing time.

Inter have been monitoring Vazquez as a possible option to replace Robin Gosens during the January transfer window.

The 19-year-old has not played much at Valencia so far in the season as he is behind the likes of Jose Gaya and Toni Lato in the competition for the left-back spot.

Accordingly, Vazquez would be eligible to leave Valencia on loan for the rest of the season.

Bologna are also tracking Vazquez for the January transfer window, however.

According to the Corriere, the fact that the Spaniard would likely play more for Bologna could give the Emilians the advantage over Inter for his signature.
